====== Starhawk interstellar fighter ====== This small space-superiority interstellar fighter is a fast, agile design intended for dogfights and strafing. It is thin skinned but heavily protected by a defensive force screen. Unusual for fighters, it has an engine room for repairs and a bunk for its crew to allow interstellar voyages. The Starhawk’s 15m long streamlined hull masses 30 tons (SM +5). Some fleet units that have gotten the TL 11 upgrades use this as their 30 ton fighter, offering a large increase in combat power over the previous [[Meteor]], but mostly it is used as in fighter squadrons that are not tasked to fleets. This is the more prestigious starfighter than the [[Hornet]]. Front Hull System * [1] Hardened Nanocomposite Armor. * [2] Major Battery (fixed mount 20cm missile launcher). * [3-4!] Major Batteries (fixed mount 10 MJ X-ray laser each). * [5] Control Room (C7 computer, comm/sensor 5, and one control station). * [6!] Light Force Screen (dDR 20). Central Hull System * [1] Hardened Nanocomposite Armor. * [2] Tactical Array (comm/sensor 7). * [3] Defensive ECM. * [4!] Stardrive Engine (FTL-1.5). * [5-6,core] habitat: 1 bunk+2 person Life-support. Rear Hull System * [1] Hardened Nanocomposite Armor. * [2-4!] Super reactionless engines (10G acceleration each). * [5] Engine Room (one workspace). * [6,core] Super Fusion Reactor (four Power Points). It has wings and gravitic compensators. Typical crew is a pilot and a sensor tech/engineer. ^TL^ Spacecraft ^dHP ^Hnd/SR^ HT ^Move ^LWt.^ Load^ SM^ Occ^ dDR^Spd^ Cost^Prod/Inv^Notes^ |11|[[Starhawk]]|20(15) |+2/4 |13 |30G/c |30 |0 |+5 |2ASV |10 +89 |1.5x |$9.115M|137k/685k|This interstellar fighter has a crew of 2 with cramped bunks for both allowing actual travel to other starsystems|
