Battle Class Frigate

This interstellar warship is designed for interstellar patrol, strike, and convoy escort operations. Built with a 3,000-ton (SM +9) streamlined hull, it offers a well-balanced design whose drive drive provides enough thrust to take off or land on an Earth-sized planet.

The standard imperial light warship, the backbone of the ability to protect lesser systems.

Front Hull System

The usual complement manning the vessel are six bridge crew (captain, pilot, navigator/sensor operator, two missile gunners/sensor operators, chief engineer), a medic, two turret gunners, and two technicians. A second shift are often carried, and the ship is usually also be assigned a squad-sized marine boarding party

About 25 000 Battle-class frigates have been upgraded with a basic shield and new drives. This conversion removes the Hot reactionless Engines and add one Super Reactionless Engine, a force screen and a 150 ton hold.
