This small space-superiority interstellar fighter is a fast, agile design intended for dogfights and strafing.
It is thin skinned but heavily protected by a defensive force screen.
Unusual for fighters, it has an engine room for repairs and a bunk for its crew to allow interstellar voyages.
The Starhawkâs 15m long streamlined hull masses 30 tons (SM +5).
Some fleet units that have gotten the TL 11 upgrades use this as their 30 ton fighter, offering a large increase in combat power over the previous Meteor, but mostly it is used as in fighter squadrons that are not tasked to fleets.
This is the more prestigious starfighter than the Hornet.
