This heavy cruiser is the backbone of the imperial fleet and is what most people think about when they hear “Imperial warfleet”.
This 30,000-ton (SM +11), unstreamlined starship is 150 meters long. It is about the same mass as a World War II battleship.
The Admiral class is heavily armored and bristles with beam and missile firepower.
Its antimatter reactor gives it plenty of power at relatively low mass, but unfortunately leaves it vulnerable to catastrophic kills. To mitigate this, the reactor is buried deep in the heart of the vessel.

The cruiser’s typical crew are 15 bridge operators (including the captain, executive officer, pilot, engineering officer, navigator, sensor operator, communication officer, missile gunner, and tactical officer), 43 turret gunners and 20 missile operators, 36 technicians, small craft crew and one medic. Multiple crew shifts are usually carried, plus a platoon to a company size marine force.
The shielded version of the Admiral Class heavy cruiser. Recently about 2500 Admirals have been converted to this configuration.
