Aliens

There are about three dozen total known alien intelligent or semi-intelligent races. Most of them only live in their home system.

There are six alien races with larger areas either inside or close to the area claimed by the Empire.

The relations between humans and most of them are mostly neutral, though the Salarians and the Empire have a mutual defense treaty.
