Prototype new frigate, meant for special operations and heavy scouting. It is the largest imperial vessel equipped with a cloaking device. The difficulty of producing the cloaking devices has been the main reason for slow production.
It is optimized more for stealthy operations than pure ship to ship combat. It's weaponry is mostly optimized for surprise attacks and planetary combat.
It is built on a 3,000-ton (SM +9) winged hull. It can lift off directly from planetary surfaces. The ship has more than 70% of systems in common with the Tiger class frigates.
The frigate has artificial gravity and gravitic compensators, and also has a stealth hull and dynamic chameleon surface. It is even theoretically capable of doing a non powered gliding reentry.
It is a new style layout with three decks along the length axis.
The top deck has the control room at front with 2 front facing control stations at front and the remaining 4 side facing in a corridor backwards, the combat information center is behind it and finally the briefing room in back with some of the engineering components behind it.
The middle or main deck has the grav guns in front, main bunk room behind it with the normal cabins on sides of it. Then there is the main eating/lounge area with the sickbay and the doctors quarters on one side and the captains quarters on other, behind it is the main lift going between middle and lowwer deck. Behind those are the engineering spaces and the cloaking device.
The lowest deck has the laser battery in front(chin turret) and the vehicle bay behind it with the elevator going up behind it.
The side pods contain the star drives, fusion reactors and the main thruster, the access to them is with access tunnels form the engineering spaces on the middle deck.

The usual crew complement consists of six bridge crew
(captain, navigator, sensor operator, pilot, comm officer, engineering officer), four turret gunners, a ship’s doctor, and two
technician. A squad or two of marines is usually carried.
