This “grapple corvette” is the standard imperial military tug.

A corvette-sized vessel equipped with two folding arms for close combat/towing, it is built on a 1,000-ton (SM +8) streamlined hull, and is 47 meters long.

There is currently an experimental program where few hundred of these have been converted to different versions of TL10/11 grapple concepts. Most have changed the drives to be several TL 11 super reactionless drives while removing the rest of the drives and instead adding a major battery or spinal tractor beam.

Front Hull System

Typical crew is four bridge members (pilot, captain, navigator/gunner, engineering officer) and an engine-room mechanic. Some boarding specialists may also be carried.
