Built on a 3,000,000-ton (SM +15) unstreamlined hull 700 meters long, this armored city in space is large enough to contain an entire village inside one hangar bay. Its total hangar capacity is 600,000 tons, enabling it to deploy 60,000 light fighters!

In addition to myriad small craft, it is fast and well protected, with tough armor augmented by a force screen and dozens of high-power laser turrets.

It is very similar to the Viking-Class Assault Ship, having same basic hull and more than 90% parts in common. The main difference is that Viking class has more bunkrooms and related things and less hangars than the continent-class.

This new enormous carrier functions as the core of the primary imperial fleets.

Typical crew is 10 bridge operators (the captain, executive officer, pilot, engineering officer, navigator, sensor operator, two communication officers, and two tactical officers), 10,000 technicians, and 30 medics. Two shifts of space crew are carried plus small-craft crew, who number normally about 30,000 to 50,000 more. A company-sized or larger body of troops may be assigned to it.
